Academic Publications of EPTA Members

Paul Elbert has sent this message for all EPTA members.

The inaugural issue of a new biblical journal, the Journal of Biblical and Pneumatological Research (JBPR), has been released by Wipf & Stock. This new biblical journal is an international peer-reviewed journal with 27 editorial board members from 12 countries. Several EPTA board members kindly assist the editorial process. We believe that JBPR compliments JEPTA in positive ways and will be useful for scholars and students in the Pentecostal/Charismatic faith tradition. JBPR hopes to serve the historic Christian faith and hopes to offer new discoveries and perspectives. The attached email flyer describes the journal's purpose and scope, which is to investigate various underexplored areas of research in biblical and related literature that are narratively, rhetorically, and experientially related to the potential activity and impact of the Holy Spirit, Ruach Yahweh, and Ruach Elohim.  The cover design features John Trevor's memorable photo of the oldest biblical manuscript. The contents of JBPR Volume 1 (2009) are posted on the journal's website.  The publisher is currently offering a 20% discount off of the individual subscriber price of $20US. The institution price is $30US. If you wish, please feel free to share the attached email flyer with your favorite librarian. Thank you for your consideration.  It has been our experience that Wipf & Stock has an efficient ordering system and that they respond immediately to email orders.
